We invite you to join us as we celebrate our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, as pictured in the Jewish celebration of Passover. (Exodus 12). Much of the symbolism of Jesus’ last Passover week is lost to us because we are unaware of the customs of the time. The Seder Meal, the recounting of the promises of God in delivering Israel out of bondage from the Egyptians. pictures for us the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Through this service, filled with symbolic foods, prayers, singing, and a shared meal; we will gain both a historical view of the Jewish Passover as well as fresh insight as to how it pointed to Jesus and how Jesus brought all the elements of the Passover meal into what we know as the Lord’s Table (Communion).
The cost for this year’s Seder is $12.00 per seat (13 years to adult), $10.50 per child (4 – 12 years with full meal and Seder plate set up), and $6.50 per child (4 – 12 years with full meal and NO Seder plate set up). Children 0-4 years are free with NO meal and NO Seder plate, and may either sit in the service or participate in the free child watch.
